Thomas is a leading speaker on masculinity, gender, and trans media issues. He has been reporting on the "masculinity crisis" and related issues since 2011, is the author of two books on gender, and is a regular media commentator on gender. He has spoken about rethinking American masculinity with a beginner's mind at over a dozen colleges and institutions, including Google and Facebook.
